PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
This is to inform the public that a public hearing will be held on the proposed Alamance County Transportation Authority (ACTA) Community Transportation Program Application to be submitted to the North Carolina
Department of Transportation no later than January 31, 2008. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday January 23, 2008 at 8:30 am in the conference room at the Community Services Building, 1946 Martin Street in
Burlington North Carolina, before the Alamance County Transportation Authority Board. Those interested in attending the public hearing and needing either auxiliary aids and services under the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA) or a language translator should contact Dennis Williams, ACTA Executive Director at 336 222-0565 on or before January 21, 2008.
The Community Transportation Program provides assistance to coordinate existing transportation programs operating in Alamance County as well as provides transportation options and services for the communities within
this service area. These services are currently provided using demand response and trip referral utilizing vans. Services are rendered by Alamance County Transportation Authority.
